Yesterday I finally got my new scanner set up – and I spent the next two hours scanning my very old and fragile Victorian scrapbook pages. Holy cow do I have a TON of vintage images to share, now! And wow, does this scanner make my job of image cleanup easier.

I honestly didn’t notice this particular woman when I was leafing through the pages, but when I was going through my scans she stood out as one of the most elegant and lovely vintage portraits out of all of them! This particular image came from a scrapbook from the late 1800’s – between 1880 and probably around 1895.
