Right before Christmas I scored a huge lot of old Nature Magazine back issues from the 1920’s and 1930’s. Some of the images, illustrations and color plates in these magazines are gorgeous! The first image I wanted to share with you is this lovely group of swallows, drawn by Robert Bruce Horsfall, a renowned illustrator of birds in the first half of the 20th century. He did a ton of work for Nature Magazine, so I’m sure this isn’t the first picture I’ll have of his to share!
