I recently came across a huge stash of vintage circus ephemera, mostly from the Hoxie Brothers Circus. I’ve been able to find very little about the history of this particular show, which is odd because they were in business for 50 years or so. They went defunct sometime in the early 1980’s. This sweet piece of vintage circus clip art of a line of connected walking elephants comes from the letterhead of the Hoxie Circus from around the ’60’s.
