Here is the third and final of my Olympics stamp art sets – and I’ve saved the best for last! These four commemorative stamps are really gorgeous – and all are color-coordinated with shades of orange. 🙂
This first one is just gorgeous – from the 1976 Montreal Summer Games featuring the Men’s Gymnastics event on the Pommel Horse. Grenada is a Caribbean island that had just won it’s independence from Britain just two years prior in 1974.

Here’s another Olympic stamp from Grenada and the 1972 Munich Games. Queen Elizabeth makes an appearance because this was two years before winning independence from Britain.
This Equestrian Olympics Event stamp from Poland is from 1967 – I guess they were drumming up excitement early for the 1968 games in Mexico City??
Lastly, here is a 1968 Olympics stamp from the former Soviet Union featuring the women’s hurdles team.
