Free High Resolution Vintage Victorian Valentine’s Day Postcard

Hey hey!! It’s day 1 of 25 Days of Vintage Valentines! And a brand new freebie high-res image download! Woo!
I’m quite excited to launch my next series of vintage printables – vintage Valentine’s Day cards! These are all from my own personal collection of Victorian and WWII era scrapbooks, plus I’ve just bought a few more beauties on Etsy recently that are on their way! I also have some super-cool postage stamps like I did in my vintage Christmas pictures series, which was one of the most popular posts of the whole group.
This particular Victorian era Valentine postcard is admittedly one of the best of the bunch. I had to start off with a bang, yes? “Paeonia Symbol of Happiness Sublime — Wilt Thou be my Valentine?” I love the super-old fashioned spelling of the peony flower – you don’t see that too often, even on cards of that era.
AND – just like last time, I’ll be throwing in a few high-resolution freebies. Of course, I have to kick things off right – so here’s a huge high res version of this Victorian Valentine – a whopping 11″ inches by 7″ inches at 314 dpi.
If you use these images, I’d love to feature any of your projects here – please drop me a line along with a link!
