Welcome to Day 20 of 25 Days of Vintage Christmas Pictures! (And another high-res freebie image to download!)

I honestly can’t believe I’m on Day 20 of 25 Days of vintage Christmas pictures! That means there’s only 5 days to Christmas – forgive me for sounding so cliche, but where the heck did 2011 go? I’m still getting over the fact that summer is gone, and winter starts in 2 more days! The only good thing about that is that the days will start getting longer again – sorry for the pessimism, I live in the Chicago area. Winters aren’t particularly a pleasant time of year for us. 🙂

As for today’s image, I already don’t remember where it came from – most likely  one of my early 1900’s magazines. I really love the simplicity of this image – just red, ivory and black, and Santa, a few reindeer, and a lovely winter scene.
