Vintage Victorian Era Valentine’s Day Postcard

Printable Vintage Valentine Cards

It’s day 21 of 25 Days of Vintage Valentines

Here’s a lovely vintage valentine postcard that I forgot I had in my collection. That may or may not have anything to do with the fact that my studio is still a disaster area and I can only find half of the stuff I need. :) Even though this postcard is from before 1910, the artwork is more representative of the Georgian/Baroque era when people wore those white powdered wigs to control head lice (ick.). Regardless, I think the artwork and the couple pictured are gorgeous. I love the color palette and especially the little cupid statue at the bottom holding the heart lettering.

If you like this vintage valentine postcard, you might also like this one, that came from the same scrapbook. It is a Valentine’s Day postcard with a gorgeous peony flower and red heart. There’s also a free high res version of it, too!
