Vintage Sailor Boy Victorian Trade Card Artwork

Welcome to Day 7 of 25 Days of Vintage Summer and Patriotic Art!
When I bought the late 1800′s scrapbook that had this adorable trade card in it in the spring, it took plenty of patience to wait and share this particular card with you! You know I’m a huge collector of vintage nautical images, and this is one of my favorites! Sterling Stoves were frequent advertisers through trade cards in the 1800′s, though sadly I can’t find a speck of information about the company today. My little sailor boy here has got to be one of the cutest ads ever to have appeared!
