Hey Ho! It is Day 1 of 25 Days of Vintage Summer and Patriotic Art!

It has been a while since I’ve done a new image series – and it is high time that I get going on my latest set of vintage pictures – 25 Days of Summer and Patriotic pictures, clip art, images, printables, etc. I have some really fun images to share with you in this set – and I always like to kick things off with a great one!

This image is from an early 1900′s 4th of July postcard. I paid a lot more than I normally do for this postcard, mostly because patriotic postcards are SO much harder to find than the larger holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween! This lovely woman dressed in a Greek goddess style dress is holding a gorgeous American flag and is wearing a cute patriotic cap on her head.
