This pretty little vintage image comes from one of my old natural history books about birds. I actually have to admit that I don’t know if this is a hen, rooster, or if ‘chicken’ even covers things… but no matter what, it is cute! I really do love vintage images of birds, and definitely chickens, and I think this is the perfect time of year for art like this. I associate chickens with both summer and fall – although maybe that’s just me?
