Vintage German Die Cut Valentine Basket Graphic

Welcome to day 11 of 25 Days of Vintage Valentines!
Here’s another image from a card I bought from Pink Grapefruit Style’s Etsy shop. It was actually part of a small pop-up card, which are beautiful to look at, but don’t make very good printables.
The full card is quite old, I’m guessing between 1890-1910, and it also has a pair of children that move as you open the card – precious!

Little did I realize just how popular these old German pop up Valentine’s Day cards are. The other day I saw this one on Ebay – it ended up with over 20 bids. The final purchase price? A whopping $483! I kind of doubt my little pop up vintage valentine is worth anything close to this… but at least now I know that if I ever see a card like this at an estate sale, almost any asking price would be appropriate!
