Welcome to Day 14 of 25 Days of Vintage Easter Art! And here’s a new high resolution freebie!

Today’s image comes from the same book as this gorgeous birds nest and egg print from a late 1800’s natural history book. For this one I cleaned up the background and numbering for projects that may require more flexibility – the other one has a yellowed page background that may not fit whatever size vintage craft project you may be working on. I believe these eggs come from the same book as this image on the Graphics Fairy blog, “A History of British Birds”. The original books are incredibly rare, expensive and hard to find. On AbeBooks, the original six book set in good condition goes for as much as $4800 – a single volume in poor condition (with marks and even missing pages!) goes for about $150!
