Sweet Victorian Trade Card Featuring Children Blowing Bubbles

Welcome to Day 17 of 25 Days of Vintage Summer and Patriotic Art!
This image comes from one of my late 1800′s Victorian era scrapbooks. This was a trade card that was used as advertising for a shoe store. The two children have a little cup and pipe and you can see the bubbles they are blowing on the right side of the illustration. So STINKIN’ cute!! I really love the colors in this one as well. Many of my old vintage ephemera pieces are quite faded (for obvious reasons). This card was very well kept and is almost as bright and saturated as the day it was printed!
