Pure Roaring 20’s Eye Candy – The Great Gatsby Trailer
I saw that Leonardo DiCaprio’s new movie The Great Gatsby was trending on Twitter yesterday because the first trailer for the movie had been released. I like movies, but not such a huge fan that I would be moved to stop what I’m doing to view a buzzy movie trailer. But this morning, I was procrastinating on doing my work and came across the trailer again, so as any good procrastinator would do, I watched it.
Warning: The Great Gatsby trailer is like *crack* for any vintage-loving fangirl:
Set in the over-the-top-lavish roaring 1920’s, the costumes and sets in this movie are beyond incredible. Art deco architecture, glitzy flapper dancers, and incredible jewelry that is to-die-for gorgeous. So, in case you like to drool over 1920’s attire like I do, watch that trailer and see a few screen caps below. And try not to wish you could have been even a peon extra in the filming of this movie!
