Usually when I’m trying to hunt down cool vintage images for this site, I try to purchase books, magazines, or scrapbook that have quite a few usable pictures – it only makes financial sense, right? But then sometimes I come across a certain ad, illustration, or card that is just so incredibly awesome that I buy it even though there isn’t much else to use. This early 1900’s corset ad was one of those purchases. In fact, this is only part of the advertisement. In the original magazine, it actually span four pages with similarly beautiful artwork on each page. How could I resist?!

This W. B. Nuform Corsets ad appeared in a October 1906 issue of “New Idea Women’s Magazine” – and the good news is that after it arrived (from Ebay) I found it actually had a lot more great images that I didn’t count on getting!
