This beautiful aged and yellowed illustration of two spring birds comes from one of my Victorian trade cards from the late 1800′s. I love how the delicate branches and flowers are painted – very elegant! The fading of the image makes it a little hard to see, but the top bird is holding some thread to help build the nest. Precious!
