1919 Winter Fashion Plate Printable from the Delineator

I’ve begun collecting a ton of old magazines – primarily fashion magazines. One of my favorites is The Delineator, which was started in 1869 by the Butterick Publishing Company. Yep – the same Butterick company who makes patterns today. They sold the publication in 1937 and it was merged into The Pictorial Review. Soon thereafter, The Delineator was no more. But the issues that still exist are a virtual treasure trove of vintage fashion images, and I plan on making a lot of them available in printable form on this blog!

This lovely Russian-inspired outfit came from the December 1919 issue.
